Community Rules

Effective date: 14 June 2026

Joy in Transit is built for honest, useful, and respectful participation. These Community Rules apply to opinion posts, survey explanations, replies, mentions, reports, appeals, profile details, votes, reactions, and other contributions made through Joy in Transit.

These Community Rules form part of the Joy in Transit Terms of Service. They should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Respect People

Disagreement is welcome. Abuse is not.

Do not harass, threaten, bully, shame, intimidate, or target people or groups. Do not use hateful, degrading, sexually abusive, or dehumanising language.

Critique ideas, not people.

2. Keep the Community Safe

Do not post, promote, request, or encourage:

  • sexual exploitation or abuse;
  • graphic violence;
  • self-harm or suicide;
  • dangerous instructions;
  • illegal activity;
  • threats, intimidation, or incitement of harm;
  • content that puts another person's safety at risk.

Serious safety issues may be reported to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

3. Be Honest and Relevant

Share your real view and keep it connected to the question, Wave, or conversation.

Do not deliberately mislead others, impersonate someone, manipulate participation, spam, repeatedly post the same material, or use Joy in Transit to promote unrelated products, links, schemes, or campaigns.

Do not use fake accounts, coordinated activity, bots, scripts, or other unfair methods to influence posts, votes, reactions, rewards, Wave Score, leaderboards, or community visibility.

4. Protect Privacy and Rights

Do not share another person's private or sensitive information without permission. This includes phone numbers, home addresses, financial details, passwords, one-time passwords, government identifiers, private messages, or information that could expose someone to harm.

Only post content you have the right to use. Do not infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

5. Take Responsibility for What You Share

You are responsible for your contributions, including posts, replies, explanations, reports, appeals, votes, profile details, and content attached to a Survey option or Wave activity.

Some contributions may be public and may be seen, quoted, screenshotted, shared, indexed, or surfaced through Joy in Transit features. Removing or editing a contribution may not remove copies already seen, shared, or stored by others.

6. Report Responsibly

Use the report option when you reasonably believe content breaks these rules.

Do not submit false, abusive, retaliatory, repetitive, or bad-faith reports simply because you disagree with someone's opinion.

Not every report will lead to action, and Joy in Transit is not required to provide a detailed explanation of every moderation decision.

7. How We Enforce These Rules

We may review, limit, hide, remove, refuse to publish, preserve, or report contributions where needed to protect users, the community, Joy in Transit, Diliq, or the Service.

We are not required to monitor every contribution before it is published, and we are not required to keep any contribution available on the Service.

Where a user breaks these rules, manipulates participation, abuses reporting, or creates risk to the Service, we may take action. This may include restricting participation, reducing visibility, removing content, suspending features, adjusting Wave Score, reversing Reward Points, affecting leaderboard visibility, affecting reward eligibility, or suspending or terminating an account.

Where an appeal is available, the affected person may ask us to review the decision. Appeals are reviewed at our discretion and do not guarantee reversal.

Reports, appeals, moderation records, enforcement records, and related account information may be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to These Rules

We may update these Community Rules from time to time. Where changes are material, we may notify users through the Service, website, email, or another reasonable channel.

Your continued use of Joy in Transit after changes take effect means you accept the updated Community Rules.
